I am a nurse who is deeply compassionate in serving my community. I grew up on the Navajo Reservation in New Mexico and Arizona. I am proud to have served my people as a member of the Navajo Tribe. More so, I am gratefully honored to have served as a Lieutenant with the Commissioned Corps of the United States Public Health Service.

 

I graduated from Northern Arizona University with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN). From there, I attended the University of Arizona in receiving my Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN). I have 19 years in nursing experience. Throughout my nursing career, I have gained experience in: Impatient/Outpatient Health Care, Community Health, Public Health, Maternal-Child Health, Pediatrics, Behavioral Health, Diabetes, and Long-Term Care.

I previously worked as a Nurse Consultant/Complaint Investigator with the Department of Social and Health Services here in Yakima, WA. I also specialize in nurse education as I have taught nursing classes with several different universities.

I wholeheartedly believe nursing is more than a career, for me, it is a natural role. Therefore, I am dedicated to serve as your healthcare provider.
